Real Estate New Zealand. Weird or wonderful? Find out here.
Real Estate New Zealand will tell you everything you need to know about purchasing property in New Zealand. I've just done it myself and coming from England the system is often a great deal easier than its counterparts in Europe. Property in New Zealand is weird to many of us English people. It tends not to be built in brick, often houses can be put up in 8 weeks or less and consist solely of materials like wood, and board. They can be damp and are often unheated. New Zealand homes rarely have double glazing although this has begun to catch on a little bit in more expensive homes in the cities (yes I am writing this in 2010) Additionally central heating is almost unheard of. The New Zealanders are a hardy race and reckon that they don't need central heating as the climate's too mild. Yeah right!! Below is an older example of NZ Real Estae but there's plenty of these left now!
When it comes to Real Estate there are lots of options. City, rural. Buy some land and build your own. Unlike in many other countries lots of people have their own house built. At around $1200-$1500 NZ per square metre its often not an expensive option.More of this on linking pages though. Coming up- interviews with reputable Mortgage Brokers and estate agents And not all of them are reputable in New Zealand, believe me.
